Soccer Recap: Poca Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Buffalo, Poca was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the St. Marys Blue Devils 10-0. The high-scoring effort was just what Poca needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Poca's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for St. Marys, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Poca will square off against Roane County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Marys, they will challenge Buffalo at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Buffalo will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each match than the last.
