Softball Recap: Leeton Has No Trouble Against St. Paul Lutheran

The Leeton Bulldogs got the win against the St. Paul Lutheran Saints on Monday by a conclusive 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won three matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Leeton and bumps their season record up to 5-1. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-10 Orrick and 2-4 St. Paul Lutheran. As for St. Paul Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Leeton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-9 victory against Tipton on the 9th. As for St. Paul Lutheran, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 18-2 win against Orrick on the 8th.
