Soccer Recap: Harmony Science Academy Comes Up Short

Harmony Science Academy lost against Bowie back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Harmony Science Academy lost 7-0 to the Bowie Bears. While losing is never fun, Harmony Science Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 769th, while Bowie is ranked 367th).

Harmony Science Academy was without their leading scorer, Santiago Franco, in Tuesday's game. With Franco sitting this one out, Antonio Tojin got some extra time on the pitch (60 vs. his season average of 34).

This is the second loss in a row for Harmony Science Academy and nudges their season record down to 4-10. As for Bowie, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5.

Harmony Science Academy didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-0 loss against San Elizario on the 28th. As for Bowie, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Austin on the 1st.
