Basketball Recap: Lakeview Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Lakeview took on Grant on Tuesday. The Lakeview Wildcats fell to the Grant Tigers 45-39. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Lakeview's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Grant, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakeview will venture away from home to face off against Central Montcalm at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Grant, they will challenge Newaygo at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Newaygo will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Grant surely won't give up without a fight.
