Softball Recap: Riverside University/Meir Comes Up Short on the Road Against Shorewood

Riverside University/Meir had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Shorewood Greyhounds by a score of 7-5 on Friday.

Briana Gray made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Looking ahead, Riverside University/Meir will take on Milwaukee King at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Shorewood, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Brookfield Academy at 4:30 p.m. on May 14.
