Softball Recap: Schenectady Comes Up Short

Schenectady was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 19-0 to the Scotia-Glenville Tartans.

Schenectady's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Scotia-Glenville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Schenectady will welcome Duanesburg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Scotia-Glenville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Glens Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tartans are on a nine-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), the Bulldogs a six-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
