Basketball Recap: Audrey Foster's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Clinton Christian Academy over Plaza Heights Christian Academy

Clinton Christian Academy lost against Plaza Heights Christian Academy last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Clinton Christian Academy Patriots took a 45-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Plaza Heights Christian Academy.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Audrey Foster, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Foster has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Carissa Compton, who posted six points.

Reece Cornine continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Plaza Heights Christian Academy, going 9 of 14 en route to 21 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Rylee Gray, who had seven points and three steals.

Clinton Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Plaza Heights Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Heartland the next time they take the court. Clinton Christian Academy will head out to face Heartland at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Plaza Heights Christian Academy will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
