Volleyball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short on the Road Against Greenville H

Riverside kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greenville H Hurricanes. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hurricanes apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by exactly two points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23.

The win (which was Greenville H's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

After both having extra time off, Riverside and Mauldin will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Greenville H, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Greenwood on the 18th.
