Baseball Game Preview: West Boca Raton Bulls vs. Southridge Spartans

For the second straight game, West Boca Raton will face off against Southridge. The Bulls will square off against the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.

West Boca Raton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Southridge 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulls have posted since March 19th.

Max McDougall spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Alejandro Rodriguez was incredible, going 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Christian Fallacara-Saunders also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
