Basketball Recap: Waxahachie Prep Comes Up Short

Waxahachie Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 60-40 to the Providence Academy Lions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-40 last Tuesday.

Waxahachie Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Providence Academy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-11.

Waxahachie Prep has already played their next contest (against Westwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Providence Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Kingdom Collegiate Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
