Basketball Recap: Achille Takes a Loss

Achille was the 38-37 winner over Coleman when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Achille Golden Eagles received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 53-35 to the Coleman Wildcats.

Achille has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Coleman, they moved to 5-14 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Achille will welcome Coalgate at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Coleman, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Coleman Wildcats duke it out with the Caney Cougars at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
