Recap: McLean County Cougars vs. Trinity Raiders
The McLean County Cougars won the last time they faced the Trinity Raiders, and things went their way on Monday too. McLean County enjoyed a cozy 53-37 win over the Raiders.
McLean County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Katie Mccoy, who scored seven points along with two steals and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Anna Miller, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and three steals.
McLean County's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Trinity, their loss was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-16.
McLean County will face off against the Hornets at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Trinity, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Grayson County is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
