Basketball Recap: Hector Comes Up Short

Hector made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Paris, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wildcats fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 39-37 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Wildcats have suffered since December 20, 2024.

Hector's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Paris, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Hector won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Rose Bud at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Paris, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Baptist Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
