Appalachian is a perfect 10-0 against Victory Christian since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Appalachian Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Victory Christian Lions at 4:00 p.m.

Appalachian came up short against Southeastern on Tuesday, falling 13-3. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Victory Christian hadn't done well against Ragland recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Everything went Victory Christian's way against Ragland as Victory Christian made off with a 10-0 victory.

Appalachian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Victory Christian, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Appalachian took their victory against Victory Christian when the teams last played on Friday by a conclusive 11-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for Appalachian since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
