On Tuesday Alyssa Smith posted five points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals, good enough to set a new career-high in boards in the process. As if that's not impressive enough, the game was her sixth in a row with two or more steals. On the season, she has averaged 2.9 points, 1.8 steals, and 1.5 boards.

Smith and Wink will square off against Fort Hancock at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Mustangs, probably because Smith had a solid game then too: she scored eight points and six steals.
