Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Coppell). They took their match on Thursday with ease, bagging a 64-37 win over the Hanks Knights. Given the Cowboys' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Knights are ranked 660th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hanks lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Daisy Fernandez, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoey Burton, who put up ten points.

With the victory, Coppell broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-8. As for Hanks, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Coppell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 35-29 win against Boerne on the 6th. As for Hanks, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-28 loss against Glenn on the 6th.
