Meanwhile, Tabernacle lost 43-22 to Jacksonville Christian Academy on Friday. The Torches have struggled against the Thunder recently, as their contest on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Everything came up roses for Cornerstone Christian against Tabernacle when the teams last played back in September of 2023 as the squad secured a 56-28 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cornerstone Christian since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
