Soccer Recap: Bloomfield Comes Up Short

Bloomfield lost against Vincennes Rivet back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cardinals came up short against the Patriots, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Bloomfield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 267th, while Vincennes Rivet are ranked 116th).

Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Vincennes Rivet, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Coming up, Bloomfield will challenge Sullivan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vincennes Rivet, they will square off against White River Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
