Basketball Game Preview: Lynn Classical Rams vs. Swampscott Big Blue

The Lynn Classical Rams will head out to challenge the Swampscott Big Blue at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Sunday, Lynn Classical was able to grind out a solid win over Revere, taking the game 64-51. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Meanwhile, Swampscott put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Saugus as Swampscott made off with an 89-64 victory. The Big Blue have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 25 points or more this season.

Lynn Classical now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Swampscott, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Lynn Classical came up short against Swampscott in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 60-49. Can Lynn Classical avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
