Softball Recap: Union County Find Success

Union County made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Oceanside Collegiate Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Union County Yellowjackets' pitchers stepped up to hand the Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks an 11-0 shutout on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Yellowjackets considering their one-run performance the game before.

The victory got Union County back to even at 2-2. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1.

Union County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against A.C. Flora on the 14th. Oceanside Collegiate Academy has also already played their next contest (against Greenville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
