Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Center Line

South Lake came into Friday's match looking for another win against Center Line, but TE'REZ HOLMES wouldn't allow it. The Center Line Panthers had just enough and edged the South Lake Cavaliers out 46-44 thanks in part to HOLMES, who dropped a triple-double on 15 points, 22 rebounds, and ten blocks. The contest was his sixth in a row with at least ten points.

ISAIAH ASHFORD was another key player, putting up five boards and four steals. He has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played.

The win (which was Center Line's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-4. As for South Lake, they moved to 9-5 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Center Line will host Mott at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Lake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marysville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
