Basketball Recap: Hyde Park Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Hyde Park faced off against Temple on Saturday. The Hyde Park Panthers came up short against the Temple Wildcats, falling 50-24. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Hyde Park has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Temple, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-7 record.

Hyde Park will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lehman at 10:50 a.m. on December 27th. Temple and Copperas Cove will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
