Memphis not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since December 10, 2024 (when they won 82-21). They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the San Jacinto Christian Academy Patriots 73-27. The Cyclones' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Memphis to victory, but perhaps none more so than Armando Saenz, who shot 50% from the field en route to 20 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Saenz has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ismael Rodriguez, who went 7-for-15 on his way to 15 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals.
