            Jackson and Eastlake squared off in some playoff action  on Friday, but Jackson had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wolves by a score of  2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  14-0  two weeks ago.
  Drew Pepin was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  tossed six innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   six  hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in seven consecutive appearances.
