While Millburn didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 win over the Payne Tech Lions on Friday. The Millers haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Millburn's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Payne Tech, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Looking ahead, Millburn will challenge Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Payne Tech, they will square off against Bergen Tech at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
