Basketball Game Preview: Reed Raiders vs. McQueen Lancers

The Reed Raiders will take on the McQueen Lancers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Reed is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. The match between them and Douglas didn't end well, with Reed falling 81-65.

Meanwhile, McQueen had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past Carson with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 64-49.

McQueen now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Reed, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

Reed came up short against McQueen in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 58-50. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of McQueen's Abram Carpenter, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine boards.
