Edgewater had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They claimed a resounding 85-44 win over the Melbourne Bulldogs. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 21 points or more this season.

The victory was the tenth in a row for Edgewater, bringing their record for this year to 19-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points over those games. As for Melbourne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-9.
