Softball Recap: South O'brien's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ridge View, South O'Brien was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Gehlen Catholic Jays get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. This was payback for the Wolverines, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

With the win, South O'Brien broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6. As for Gehlen Catholic, they dropped their record down to 4-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Coincidentally, South O'Brien and Gehlen Catholic will both be playing Harris-Lake Park the next time they take the field. The Wolverines will host the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Jays will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
