Volleyball Recap: Elianna Bancroft Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Dobson

Skyline won the last time they faced Dobson and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Coyotes came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 3-1.

Skyline got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 10-25, 25-22, 30-28.

Skyline's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elianna Bancroft, who had 45 assists and five kills. Bancroft is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 16 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Clara Lopez, who had 18 kills and two blocks.

Skyline's victory bumped their record up to 13-17. As for Dobson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season.

As of now, neither Skyline nor Dobson have any future games scheduled.
