Basketball Recap: Southern Lab Piles Up the Points Against Sacred Heart

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Southern Lab had no problem doing just that on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Sacred Heart Trojans 91-6. The Kittens have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Southern Lab to victory were Asia Patin and Shaila Forman. Patin posted 17 points and eight steals, while Forman had 26 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Forman's big performance that evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points. Kaliyah Brown was another key player, putting up ten points and three steals.

Southern Lab has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points over those games. Sacred Heart's loss dropped their record down to 12-10.

As of now, neither Southern Lab nor Sacred Heart have any future games scheduled.
