Baseball Game Preview: Oak Creek Knights vs. Racine Case Eagles

For the second straight game, Oak Creek will face off against Racine Case. The Knights will take on the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Oak Creek has five straight victories, Racine Case has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Oak Creek's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over Racine Case. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

For Racine Case's part, Matthew Karveles was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases. Karveles is becoming a predictor of the Eagles' success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 2-1 (and 5-8 when he doesn't).
