Canyon Crest Academy had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Valley Center Jaguars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-5 on Monday.

The team relied heavily on Sean Bitter, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Ian Kwon also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Canyon Crest Academy pushed their record up to 9-11-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Valley Center, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.

Canyon Crest Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Jaguars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
