Baseball Recap: Jerome Takes a Loss

Jerome lost against Twin Falls back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 5-4.

Jerome saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Wilson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Payton Jackson was another, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Jerome has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Twin Falls, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bruins beat Jerome by a score of 6-2 later that day.
