Mena lost to Pottsville back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Bearcats were the clear victors by a 17-5 margin over the Apaches. The Bearcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by ten runs or more this season.

Mena pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Pottsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mena is set to challenge their familiar foe Waldron at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pottsville will take on rival Clarksville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
