Softball Recap: Port St. Lucie Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Port St. Lucie's offense. They came up short against the Bayside Bears on Monday, falling 15-0. The Jaguars have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Port St. Lucie's loss dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Bayside, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Looking ahead, Port St. Lucie will square off against Central at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bayside, they will head out on the road to take on Martin County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season.
