Soccer Recap: Longview Comes Up Short

Longview lost against Rockwall-Heath back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Longview Lobos fell just short of the Rockwall-Heath Hawks by a score of 1-0. The Lobos' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Longview's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Rockwall-Heath, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Longview will square off against Royse City at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Longview is facing Royse City at the right time seeing as Royse City is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Rockwall-Heath, they will take on Forney at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Rockwall-Heath's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
