Volleyball Recap: Cabool Extends Winning Streak to Five

Cabool waltzed into their game on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Bunker Eagles by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Cabool took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11.

Jayne Thompson paced Cabool's offense, picking up nine kills. Thompson got some help from Cambree Woodard and her 20 assists. Jacie Mcminn controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cabool's victory bumped their record up to 10-5-1. As for Bunker, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10-1.

Cabool wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Niangua on the 20th. As for Bunker, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Seymour on the 20th.
