Loyola had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mater Dei Monarchs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Saturday.

Loyola's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Mater Dei, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-10-2.

Coming up, Loyola will face off against Notre Dame (SO) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mater Dei, they will head out to challenge St. John Bosco at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
