Basketball Recap: Union Local's Loss Ends 16-Game Winning Streak at Home

Union Local entered their matchup against Indian Creek on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Union Local Jets fell to the Indian Creek Redskins 50-46. The Jets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Redskins earlier this season, when they won 41-37.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Indian Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mckenna Scott, who posted 17 points and six assists. Gracie Wiley was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Union Local's loss ended a 16-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-3. As for Indian Creek, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Union Local has already played their next game, a 65-38 victory against John Marshall on the 20th. As for Indian Creek, they will face off against Bellaire at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Scott and Zara Harveth.
