Volleyball Recap: Fillmore Central Takes a Loss

Fillmore Central lost against Sutton back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Mustangs.

Jordyn Stassines paced Fillmore Central's offense, picking up seven kills. Stassines got some help from Allie Myers and her seven assists. Finally, Harlee Hafer kept Fillmore Central's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Among those leading the charge was Elsa Andersen, who had nine assists and seven digs.

Fillmore Central's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Sutton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season.

Fillmore Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Tri County on the 16th. As for Sutton, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Sandy Creek on the 16th.
