Basketball Preview: Thief River Falls Prowlers vs. Sacred Heart Eagles
The Thief River Falls Prowlers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sacred Heart Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Thief River Falls has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 402 points over their last six contests.
Thief River Falls scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They strolled past Menahga with points to spare, taking the game 92-76. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Caleb Rosendahl continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 47 points along with four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Thief River Falls' points. Another player making a difference was Gannon Zutz, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Sacred Heart unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were the victim of a tough 80-59 defeat at the hands of Thompson. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Thief River Falls' win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Sacred Heart, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6.
