Baseball Recap: Landrum Comes Up Short

Landrum was the 4-0 winner over Chesnee when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals came up short against the Eagles on Friday, falling 7-1.

Landrum's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Chesnee, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.

Landrum and Chesnee should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings. The Cardinals will face off against High Point Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (61 vs. 241). Meanwhile, Chesnee (ranked 77th) will meet Greenville Tech Charter (ranked 249th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
