Softball Recap: Rocky River Comes Up Short

Rocky River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to the North Olmsted Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in April.

Rocky River's record now sits at 10-8. As for North Olmsted, their record is now 8-10.

Coming up, Rocky River will take on Lutheran West at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Longhorns have averaged an impressive 12.3 runs per game this season. As for North Olmsted, they will take on Avon Lake in a tournament on Thursday.
