Basketball Recap: Foothill Comes Up Short

Foothill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the DeSoto Eagles 59-31.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead DeSoto to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chloe Stigler, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Raegan Scott, who earned 13 points.

Foothill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for DeSoto, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Foothill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 54-37 loss against South Grand Prairie on the 5th. As for DeSoto, they have also already played their next contest, a 66-64 defeat against O'Connor on the 5th.
