Softball Recap: Forest Hills Central Comes Up Short

Forest Hills Central lost against Christian two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rangers took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Rangers just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Brooke Cullinane spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and three unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, Forest Hills Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Robinson, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Forest Hills Central's record now sits at 5-8. As for Christian, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7.

While Forest Hills Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
