Basketball Recap: Agoura Comes Up Short on the Road Against Chaminade

Agoura had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Chaminade Eagles, falling 75-43. The Chargers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-13.

When it comes to explaining why Agoura lost, don't look at Noah Razaqi. Despite the final result, he shot 55% from the field en route to 20 points.

Chaminade's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brycen Butler led the charge by going 6-for-13 to rack up 14 points and four steals. Those four steals gave Butler a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dylan Moran, who shot 54% from the field on his way to 19 points.

Coming up, Agoura won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Shalhevet at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chaminade, they will face off against Rancho Mirage at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
