Basketball Game Preview: Crestview Cougars vs. Plymouth Big Red

The Crestview Cougars will head out to challenge the Plymouth Big Red at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Crestview strolled past South Central with points to spare, taking the game 60-41. The Cougars pushed the score to 52-30 by the end of the third, a deficit the Trojans cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Plymouth didn't have too much trouble with New London on Thursday as they won 50-36. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Big Red.

Crestview's record now sits at 15-3. As for Plymouth, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Crestview didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Plymouth when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 62-57 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Crestview since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
