Football Recap: Nyack Comes Up Short

Nyack lost against Clarkstown North back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Red Hawks had to suffer through a 47-19 loss at the hands of the Rams. The Red Hawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-13.

Nyack now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Clarkstown North, the victory (which was their sixth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Nyack and Clarkstown North could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. The Red Hawks (ranked 301st) will meet Harrison (ranked 27th) at 6:00 p.m. on the 27th. Meanwhile, Clarkstown North will take on Rye at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (137 vs. 7).
