Baseball Recap: Crestview Wins Going Away Against New Haven

Crestview won the last time they faced New Haven and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Knights walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Bulldogs. That looming 8-4 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.

The win made it two in a row for Crestview and bumps their season record up to 3-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for New Haven, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Crestview will be playing in front of their home fans against Spencerville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bearcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for New Haven, they will square off against South Adams at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Starfires will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
