Basketball Recap: Lone Peak Find Success

Lone Peak won against Pleasant Grove on Monday with 75 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Knights walked away with a 75-64 victory over the Springville Red Devils. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Springville's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Swift Hall, who shot 62% from the field on his way to 21 points and six assists. Hall is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Jamyn Sondrup, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds.

Lone Peak now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Springville, their record now sits at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Lone Peak will take on Meridian at 1:40 p.m. on December 4. As for Springville, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Syracuse at 7:00 p.m. on December 3.
